About Amalfi

Until the earthquake in 1343, Amalfi was a maritime powerhouse. Unfortunately, there is little evidence of this today as most of the old city and it's populous slide into the water. What is left is a quaint town with an iconic coastline and a beautiful harbour.

One of the first things you'll notice when you dock in Amalfi is the magnificent bell tower of the Amalfi Cathedral. The building is dedicated to Saint Andrew, and has been remodelled several times over hundreds of years with influences from Roman, Byzantine, Gothic and Baroque architecture.

Amalfi is one of the larger towns on the Amalfi coast. You can walk around squares and through pedestrianized streets with many restaurants and souvenir shops.

About Capri

Capri is purpose-built for walking and hiking. The beautiful natural trails, many of which are off the beaten track, are a great way to explore the island's natural beauty at your own pace. Take plenty of water and comfortable shoes as you can easily find yourself far from amenities.
