Ferries to and from Kiel
Color Line operates six modern ships, including cruise ships, a high-speed passenger ferry and a cargo ship. On board you will find all categories of restaurants serving hot food and snacks as well as large tax-free shops with a wide selection of goods.

Kiel port facilities
Kiel Ferry port has various modern terminals for passenger ferries and cruise ferries. Norwegenkai and Schwedenkai (incl. Bollhörnkai-Nord) are the two terminals serving Kiel to Gothenburg and Oslo routes.
- Norwegenkai terminal is the regarded as one of the best terminals on the German coast. This terminal serves the Color Line ships offering a daily service between Kiel and Oslo. This terminal has a capacity to hold about 2500 passengers and has first class passenger facilities.
- Schwedenkai (incl. Bollhörnkai-Nord) is on the western bank of Kiel Fjord close to the city centre. Stena Line operates a daily service from Kiel to Gothenburg from here.
- DFDS LISCO ferries depart from Kiel Ostuferhafen. All the passenger terminals are close to city centre and there are inter-terminal and rail connections from everywhere along with parking facilities outside all of the terminals.
Getting to Kiel port
By car
Head for Kiel via A7/ A215 (Hamburg - Kiel Highway) and follow signs to the required terminal. Follow the road signs for "Fähre" and later "Norwegenkai" or "Fähre Oslo" to get to Norwegenkai terminal and follow signs to "Fähre" and later "Schwedenkai" or "Fähre Göteborg" to get to Schwedenkai terminal.
By train
Kiel train station has direct connections to the German Rail network. Then just a few minutes' walk over Hörnbrücke pedestrian bridge to the terminals. From the city centre, it is just 5 to 10 minutes walk to the terminals.
