Getting to Rostock
Follow the A20/A19 motorway, following signs for Rostock International Port. From Rostock Central Station, take the tram no. 4 to the stop "Dierkower Kreuz", then take the no. 19 or 21 bus to Rostock ferry port. Alternatively, from Rostock Central Station you can catch a local train to the stop "Seehafen-Nord", which is approximately 20 minutes walk from Rostock Ferry Port.

Rostock is located in the German region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is the largest city in this region. Rostock has plenty for the visitor to see and do; from the picturesque New Market Square with its 13th century Town Hall and beautifully restored 15th and 16th century houses.
Other historical sites in Rostock include St. Mary's Church, a Gothic building dating from the 13th century; and the Franciscan monastery founded in 1243.
