About Toulon
Toulon is a fascinating town with a beautiful harbour and the Mont Faron in the background. Cable cars are available to the Mont Faron, for fantastic panoramic views, and to the zoo. Toulon port facilities
Toulon ferry port has a pedestrian walkway that leads passengers from the terminals to the city centre. At the terminal services and facilities include a Tourist Information bureau, public telephones, a bar, toilets and a free shuttle service from the terminals to the port gate. Outdoor public parking and indoor private parking (by Mayol) are also available.
Getting to Toulon
From Marseille: Take the motorway A50 and continue on for about 63 Km, all the way to Toulon. From Lyon: Take and stay on the motorway A7 for about 275 Km; continue on the A8/Aix-Ouest/Aix en Provence/Toulon/Nice and after 30 Km take the exit onto the A52 toward Aubagne/Toulon.
From Nice: Take the A8 and continue for about 85 Km; take the exit onto the A57/ Le Luc/Toulon/Hyeres and continue straight all the way to Toulon.
Toulon Railway Station is close to the city centre and close to the ferry port.
