Ferries to and from Stockholm

Check in for Tallink and Viking Line routes is usually at least one hour prior to departure; however, we advise you check with the ferry operator before travelling.

There is also a large duty free shop. There are frequent special events on board the ship to provide added excitement to the crossing. Cabins come in a range of styles and sizes.

About Stockholm

Stockholm, Sweden's capital, is made up of 14 small islands, each distinct in character and mood; from the upmarket Östermalm and the bohemian Södermalm to the historic Gamla Stan. Stockholm is often referred to as the `Venice of the North', with its pretty islands and 52 connecting bridges. Stockholm port facilities

Getting to Stockholm

Stockholm is very well integrated into the European rail and road networks, providing efficient links to the European continent. The European motorway E18 leads to Oslo and motorways E20 and E6 connect with Oslo via Gothenburg. The European motorway E4 runs as far as Malmö.

Stockholm offers national and international rail links to the rest of Sweden and rest of Europe via the X2000 express. Trains also run as far as Oslo and other destinations in Norway. The Cityterminalen, next to Central Station, provides international bus links and connections to many major European centres. Locally, the metro network provides a fast and convenient way of travelling around the city of Stockholm.
